Firstly I’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you’ve all had a lovely day with family and friends and that your day has been filled with a lot of love and happiness.
The best thing about Christmas, other than spending it with the people you love, is the food. All that food that had been sitting in my fridge with strict instructions not to be touched until Christmas Day has finally been eaten. The food was delicious as always my mum done a fantastic job with the dinner. The chocolate cake was so fantastically amazing that I’m already thinking of sneaking another slice later on.
I think that Christmas Day is the one day of the year where it’s acceptable to eat your body weight in food and I have successfully accomplished this again this year. I’m going to collapse onto the couch and enter into a food comma I am so unbelievable full. Although I do have some more room for wine. My mum picked up this amazing bottle of wine which tastes as good as I had expected. I’ve already planned to have a few more glasses while we’re watching Christmassy television later on tonight.
This year has been another magical Christmas where my brother and I got spoiled and had the chance of spoiling our parents again. It’s been a day filled with a lot of love, laughter and happiness and I couldn’t ask for anything better. I’m feeling very thankful that I have the amazing family that I do.
