Book Club | Book of The Month (May)

Today I have some very exciting news about some new posts and I’m very excited to share it with you all. Lunch with the lovely Emma earlier this week resulted in tons of blog inspiration and some pretty exciting ideas. We have a lot more exciting things planned to share with you in the coming weeks but today we’re excited to announce our own little book club.

We’re both avid readers and in our spare time, we’re constantly texting each other about books that destroyed us and books we’ve loved. Annoying each other to hurry up and read a book or just to chat about fictional boyfriends and that amazing plot twist. As a result, welcome to our very own book club. We’ll be picking a new book at the start of each month to read and you’re more than welcome to join us. At the end of the month we’ll discuss our thoughts on everything author and book related and you can join in on the chat as well. It’s just an excuse to get together and chatter about our love for books 0and fictional boys.

Excited to announce that this month’s book will be The Host by Stephanie Meyer. I haven’t read the book in years so I’m quite excited to relive it all again. I watched the film a couple of months ago and obviously texted Emma about it. We also saw the book in a charity shop this week and talked about how we both wanted to read it. That’s what influenced this month’s pick. Feel free to join in along with our read. You can follow us on Goodreads and Twitter for updates on how we’re getting along and any thoughts we have as we’re reading. We’ll be back on the 26th to share our thoughts – happy reading!
